Cooling of inverters

Fives offers cooling systems for induction equipment and other industrial installations. The cooling systems are referred to as groups and categorized by the cooling source: refrigeration, air heater or water recirculation.
The equipment that can be cooled by systems developed by Fives include:
- Power generators and oscillating circuits combined with induction systems
- Fives cooling equipment for heat treatment processes: tempering tanks, quenching units, etc.
- Power rectifiers and converters (non-induction)
- Power factor corrector equipment
- Particle accelerators
- Special equipment like welders, plasma generators, lasers, microwaves or x-rays.
With their corrosion-free stainless steel design, the systems can accommodate special customer requirements in every industrial sector (steel, marine, oil and gas, agri-food, etc.).
These systems increase the lifespan and safety of cooled equipment.
CELES GA - Air Heater Groups

CELES GA groups produce cold water to supply a closed circuit. They are used when the ambient air temperature is sufficient for maintaining the cold loop temperature (secondary).
The heat calories generated during operation of the equipment (source, inductor, box) are evacuated by the closed cooling water circuit (secondary circuit) and drawn outside by an air heater water-air exchanger.
CELES GA groups offer the following benefits:
- Complete recycling of cooling water in the secondary (zero water consumption) to save operating costs
- Operational stability with a constant flow of cooling water for optimal heat transfer efficiency and precise temperature regulation
- Water temperature is adjusted and maintained to eliminate condensation on electrical or electronic components
- No risk of scaling because it uses controlled-quality water in a closed circuit (demineralized, distilled or deionized).
CELES GF - Refrigeration Groups

CELES GF groups produce cold water to supply a closed circuit. They are used when the ambient air temperature is not sufficient for maintaining the cold loop temperature (secondary).
The heat calories generated during operation of the equipment (source, inductor, box) are evacuated by the closed cooling water circuit (secondary circuit) and drawn outside by a refrigeration unit.
CELES GF groups offer the following benefits:
- Complete recycling of cooling water in the secondary (zero water consumption) to save operating costs
- Operational stability with a constant flow of cooling water for optimal heat transfer efficiency and precise temperature regulation
- Water temperature is adjusted and maintained to eliminate condensation on electrical or electronic components
- No risk of scaling because it uses controlled-quality water in a closed circuit (demineralized, distilled or deionized).
CELES GR - Plate Type Recycling Groups
CELES GR groups produce cold water to supply a closed circuit. They are used when the temperature of the existing system's raw water is sufficient for maintaining the cold loop temperature (secondary).
The heat calories generated during operation of the equipment (source, inductor, box) are evacuated by the closed cooling water circuit (secondary circuit) and drawn outside by a water-water plate exchanger fed by a primary raw water circuit available onsite.
CELES GR groups offer the following benefits:
- Complete recycling of cooling water (zero water consumption) for operating savings
- Operational stability with constant cooling water for optimal heat transfer efficiency and precise temperature regulation
- Water temperature is adjusted and maintained to eliminate condensation on electrical or electronic components
- No risk of scaling on the secondary circuit because it uses controlled-quality water in a closed circuit (demineralized, distilled or deionized).
